From your phone

Everything can also be done from the Élise app, which adds the resident’s profile, their first routines and remote access: see Set up from your phone.

On a fresh installation, Élise opens a local three-step assistant that creates the first administrator account. This page is only reachable from the local network: nobody can create an account from the Internet.

Demo mode is off by default. No fictional data is loaded.

Describe the home

In My home:

1. create the rooms;
2. for each room, choose what you want to know (fridge opened, movement, bed occupancy, temperature…);
3. Élise suggests documented devices and guides you through pairing.

Invite relatives

Create each caregiver in Élise and choose their role. To give them access away from home, share the machine with them in Tailscale: see Remote access.

The first 14 days

During the learning period, only rules confirmed by the family can raise an alert. The learned score stays informational for at least 14 complete days. This is expected: Élise first needs to know the home’s routines.
